He is a long time leading trade unionist and climate and energy activist. Originally from the UK, he joins us live from New York to talk about energy democracy and energy ownership in a covid 19 world… Trade Unions for Energy Democracy (TUED) is a global, multi-sector initiative to advance democratic direction and control of energy in a way that promotes solutions to the climate crisis, energy poverty, the degradation of both land and people, and responds to the attacks on workers’ rights and protections.

TUED is a multi-partner initiative coordinated by the New York-based International Program for Labor, Climate and Environment (IPLCE) in cooperation with the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung-New York Office.
