You’ll see reports from the Myanmar People’s Summit in Melbourne and on the SEARCH - AMWU Education partnership, as well as action you can take to support AFTINET’s fight against billionaires suing Australians for enacting environmental protections.

There’s the latest from the New International Bookshop and left-wing publishers Interventions, and plenty of commentary from members about Israel’s war on Gaza, the growing movement against AUKUS and for peace, and socialist analysis of the Federal government’s Australian Universities Accord.  

Also included in this edition is the big announcement of our partnership with Jacobin Magazine – also sent out to members via email – in which SEARCH will support the employment of a commissioning editor to expand Jacobin’s Australian coverage. Contributions published in Jacobin will reach thousands of readers and subscribers. The partnership also includes holding two major joint events with Jacobin in the next twelve months.
